Kick Off Lunch

On Monday 10 June 2024 the first meeting in order to plan the AsiaConference 2025 took place with the conference chairmen and potential cooperation partners. Initial ideas were exchanged and a joint approach to involving additional sponsors and investment experts from the Asian real estate markets was defined.
The event will focus on the exchange of institutional investors and investment managers from Asia in order to present investment opportunities and highlight the strength of portfolio diversification of institutional investment funds in the Asian region to German and international investors.

The AsiaConference is the industry event for all topics related to institutional Asian real estate investments. The event team is delighted to start this event for the first time in 2025. Experts and investors will explain to international participants their topics and experiences on individual program items in expert presentations and panel discussions. Personal Face-to-Face Meetings will give the attendees a great chance to connect within this community.

Prior to joining KKR, he was Chief Executive Officer of LOGOS, a pan-Asia logistics real estate platform. He served as CIOand COO at MGPA, based in Singapore, prior to the company’s acquisition by BlackRock, where he led the European real estate equity business from the UK.

Dr. Karsten Lieser, a seasoned investment expert with a doctorate in finance and an engineering degree, has been appointed as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the Lübke Kelber Group as of January 2025. In this role, he will focus on expanding the firm’s investment management and capital raising activities. He joins the company from the investment platform substnz Capital Partners and brings a wealth of experience from his previous positions at Lehman Brothers, Lone Star Funds, and PIMCO Real Estate.

Moritz Mondovits (Frankfurt) joined KKR in 2021 and is part of the Global Client Solutions team. He is responsible for real estate and credit client coverage in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Mondovits was responsible for the structuring and placement of real estate debt and equity products at VICTORIAPARTNERS. Before that, he spent four years at DWS as assistant vice president in institutional investor relations.

Mr Saunders is responsible for overall investment strategies, portfolio management and the strategic development of Link’s investment business. He joined Link in March 2024. He is also one of the responsible officers of Link for the purposes of the SFO and a director of a number of subsidiaries of Link. Mr Saunders has over 30 years of experience in the property industry with an exceptionally strong investment track record. He was most recently at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, as Head of Asia Pacific Real Estate and Global Head of the Real Estate Client business.

Since 2002, he has initiated various platforms and event formats in the institutional real estate sector. He joined HEICO Group in 2015 and was managing partner of the investment section until May 2021.
